New Artist: Gym class Heroes.

This band was formed in 1997 by Travis "Schleprok" McCoy. He made his first  MTV debut in 2002 on a nationwide MC battle on Direct Effect. They have released 3 previous albums. Album number four is called " The Quilt". Travis McCoy and drummer Matt McGinley stared the band in 1997 when they met in PE at Geneva, New York High school. GCH began by playing birthday parties, clubs, and festivals. Which soon led to bigger gigs. I only know two of their songs. But from what I do know I love the GCH. The most famous song that yall may know is " Cupid's Chokehold". MTV and VH1 started playing " Clothes off" in the last year or two. Sure Travis has tattoos and peircings but some of my friends have been to some of their concerts. They say he is very sweet. But he isnt someone you would want to take home to mama. In my personal opinion, GYM CLASS HEROES ROCK! This concludes my blog on GCH.

New Artist: ICP, Insane Clown Posse.

My next new artist is ICP. It is just a shorter version of Insane Clown Posse. ICP was founded by Joe Bruce (Violent J) and Joseph Utsler (Shaggy 2 dope). They founded their group the early 90's. After releasing 6 albums also known as Joker Cards and dozens of underground albums, they are still reletively unheard of. No one thought that Violent J and Shaggy would not make it as a band. Their fans call themselves Juggalo's (for the guys) and Juggalette's (for the girls). But Being a Juggalo and a Juggalette is way more then just being a fan. Its more like a way of life. Although they paint their face like a clown would, they appreciate every fan that they have. ICP also calls themselves The Dark Carnival, Wicked Serial Killer Clowns, and Juggalos. They have many songs but a few of my favorites ar "Tilt-A-Whirl", "Juggalo Homies", "Hocus Pocus", " The Neden Game", "What is a Juggalo", And " Spin the Bottle". They are, I think, one of the most successful groups and not many people know who they are. So this is introducing you to the world of ICP. They formed the record company Psychopathic Records. They also talk about Faygo in most of their songs. Faygo is a soda similer to our Shasta. They also made Twizted ( Jamie Maddrox and Monoxide Child) who they are today. They  just so happen to be in their van one day and hear a loud thump on the side of their van. When they get out they see two white faced boys. So they decided to take them in and they eventually became part of Dark Lotus. Dark Lotus is a group built up of all of Psychopathic's artists. Like Twizted ICP also uses the hatchet man. But they have also defined a new "hatchet man". For all the Juggalette's out there, there is the hatchet girl. She looks like the hatchet man but with a ponytail. This concludes my blog on ICP.

New Artist: Twizted.

I have recently moved to Nebraska from Arkansas. I have found that their radio stations limit to Country and a mix of the 80's, 90's and today. I would like to tell you about a few of my favorite musicians. First, I would like to tell you about Twizted. They consist of Monoxide Child and Jamie Maddrox. They originated from Chicago  IL. Jamie and Monoxide were brothers seperated at birth. Their mother an father thought they were too much for them to handle. So they were placed in foster care. They finally met while they were living on the street. They became friends because they both painted their face white and wore very strange contacts. They were soon to start their career as Rap stars. They only lived on the streets for a very short time. They were signed to a record label named Psychopathic Records. They created a "mascot" for them selves. They called him a "hatchet man". They released their first album in 2002. They called it Freak Show. Their most famous song is "We dont die".  They also did a few songs with another group Dark Lotus. One of them is "Pass the Axe". Monoxide child and Jamie Maddrox call themselves "Juggalos". Which are "down for the clown". Meaning they are supporters of ICP and their success. I will in a later blog talk about ICP or Insane Clown Posse. This concludes my blog about Twizted.
